I'm a firefighter, a martial artists, and an outdoorsman. One of my earliest memories is emerging from a tent my parents had pitched beside a lake and looking out at the rocky shore and blue waters. In some sense I've spent much of my life trying to recreate that memory in the Canadian wilderness.
